It is an original, complete with the tubular lens screws, rather than the long 'clear through screws of the replicas and the original rubber gasket, though it looks pretty fragile, so I left it stuck to the light assembly. If you want an original part, pretty cheap, here is your chance. It has a horrible lens cracked, scuffed and even melted at the top.

I see several re pop brit made lenses on for that would make this a pretty good looking part. You are looking at an original Lucas L564 tail light assembly, taken off of a late 1950's Triumph 3at.
